Many people are concerned about the alignment of their teeth, but don’t want to get traditional braces because they require dietary restrictions and have conspicuous metal parts. Thankfully, ClearCorrect allows many patients to straighten out their smiles with removable and virtually invisible clear aligners. However, they do require a significant amount of effort on the part of the patient, and it’s important to know what it will require of you before you commit to it. Here are a few frequently asked questions about ClearCorrect and their answers.

How Does One Get ClearCorrect?

Before a patient can start wearing ClearCorrect clear aligners, their mouths will need to be examined and measured by a dental professional. Your dentist will create a map of your teeth to determine your treatment plan and provide measurements for your clear aligners. Your aligners will be manufactured and delivered to your address or your dentist’s office.

How Does ClearCorrect Work?

ClearCorrect works by using a series of customized clear aligners to slowly shift teeth into healthier, more beautiful positions. Each set of aligners is designed to be worn for two weeks before the patient switches to the next set in the series. The patient must wear their aligners for at least twenty-two hours every day.

How Does One Eat with ClearCorrect?

ClearCorrect clear aligners are not designed to withstand the pressures of chewing and will have to be removed whenever the patient is eating or drinking anything but water. This means that they must be removed for all meals and snacks, and the patient must be mindful not to leave them off their teeth for too long. It’s best to store the aligners in a case when not wearing them so they don’t get lost. The patient is free to eat any foods they please as long as they practice excellent oral hygiene.

What Is Oral Hygiene Like with ClearCorrect?

The patient should always brush and floss their teeth and rinse and brush their clear aligners with running lukewarm water before putting them back in their mouth. It’s also important that they remember to wait at least thirty minutes after eating before brushing their teeth.

ClearCorrect is an excellent way for many people to achieve more ideal smiles. Consulting with your dentist can determine if ClearCorrect is a suitable treatment for you.
